Carl Benton Reid was a drama graduate from Carnegie Tech and a stage actor who appeared in several plays by Lillian Hellman, Eugene O'Neill and Anton Chekhov. He also starred as Oscar Hubbard in the 1941 film adaptation of Lillian Hellman's play "The Little Foxes". He died in 1973 at the age of 79.
