It’s also just batshit crazy: Silent film references spanning "Metropolis" and "Ben-Hur" abound, there’s an overload of tryptic frames, and the humor and politics veer between hilarious and distasteful.

On November 12, 2016, Chappelle made his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live the weekend after Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election.
