It soon becomes clear, that the now-sentient Colossus is far more intelligent than its creator realized—with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.
MiddleAgedGeek. Between HAL 9000 and Skynet, there was “Colossus: The Forbin Project” (1970)… “Colossus: The Forbin Project” took Cold War paranoia and fused it with the then-nascent fear of emerging artificial intelligence, back in a time when AI was entirely hypothetical.
