Herbert Dalmas (1902 - 1989) fue un guionista de conocido por El burlador de Castilla, Un sueño americano, Domicilio desconocido, Marte ataca a la Tierra (TV) (Miniserie de TV), Last of the Redmen, Estrella de la India, Deadly Ray from Mars (TV) y Mars Attacks the World.
La película relata cómo Cruella de Vil, una mujer obsesionada por los abrigos de piel, secuestra unos cachorros de dálmata para hacerse un abrigo con sus pieles, por lo que Pongo y Perdita, los padres de los cachorros, deben ir en su búsqueda para rescatarlos.
