David Mitchell (Ainsdale, 12 de enero de 1969) es un novelista inglés. Mitchell nació en Southport, Merseyside, en Inglaterra. Estudió en la universidad de Kent donde se tituló en Literatura inglesa y americana, y realizó un máster en Literatura comparada.
David James Stuart Mitchell (born 14 July 1974) is a British comedian, actor and writer. Mitchell rose to prominence alongside Robert Webb as part of the comedy duo Mitchell and Webb. The duo starred in the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, in which Mitchell plays Mark Corrigan.
David Stephen Mitchell (born 12 January 1969) is an English novelist, television writer, and screenwriter. He has written nine novels, two of which, number9dream (2001) and Cloud Atlas (2004), were shortlisted for the Booker Prize. David also has a brother. In 1977 the family moved to Oxford, where his parents taught a course in hotel management at Oxford Brookes University. David was educated at Abingdon School in Oxfordshire.
