Hace 4 días · The music was SUPER fun in the moment but quite forgettable afterwards. I could MAYBE sing you the chorus of one song that is heavily featured throughout (and it’s just words topped onto the iconic Alan Silvestri main title from the movie) so that was a little disappointing. So many songs felt more like monologues which was a little jarring after two huge splashy group numbers right off the bat.

Hace 4 días · In that vein, Williams does a lot of entering, posing, getting applause for her costumes and strutting. The kind of thing Eartha Kitt was the master of. Williams is not. She sings well, but not in a way that feels theatrical. She brings zero mystery and menace to the role. Simard and Sieber are excellent.
