Chelsea 3 de dic. de 2018 · I'll be honest, I'm a bit surprised by that. I would have thought Solanke would be a player they tried to sign if he was staying rather than the other way around. I could also see Moyes wanting to try and sign Semenyo. Anyway, the fact is their record signing is £51m and I think they'd have to smash that if they wanted to get Dom this summer.

3 de dic. de 2018 · The reality is Solanke is not worth anything near £65m based on one decent PL season but , with PSR rules and other financial regulations now in football, selling him now makes huge financial sense. The bottom line is whilst he's a decent average level forward there are areas of his game that are way below the level of the top strikers.
3 de dic. de 2018 · Change of club certainly helped. I suppose the one thing you do have to say is that picking a squad for a tournament is different from picking a squad for autumn friendlies. I think he would probably have got picked if he was still at AFCB scoring goals.
