I think this was playing on one of the stars movie channels like 10 years ago. They played it like every day for a while. It was a weird movie where this indie band goes out to the woods. The whole movie they keep playing these kind of awkward indie songs, but it seemed like some parts were more like a musical than the band just playing the songs.

Don't Go In The Woods (1981) Free on Tubi. A group of friends go hiking in the rocky mountains to disastrous results. Some fun kills in a movie people either really like or just plain hate. On an unintentional meta level what's here is so stripped down you can squint and maybe be kind enough to say there is a satirical element here, but I'm not going there.
