Stephen Dougray Scott ( Glenrothes, Fife; 26 de noviembre de 1965) es un actor de cine y televisión escocés, conocido por su papel de Ian Hainsworth en la serie Mujeres desesperadas ( Desperate housewives ), el de villano en la película Misión imposible 2, y el de Stuart St. John en la taquillera Taken 3 .
Stephen Dougray Scott (born 25 November 1965) is a Scottish actor. He has appeared in the films Ever After (1998), Mission: Impossible 2 (2000), Enigma (2001), Hitman (2007), and My Week with Marilyn (2011).
Born in Scotland, trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where he was named most promising drama student. Scott's early work was in Scottish national theatre and television, first appearing in the series Soldier Soldier as well as on the stage in the Tim Fleming directed production of Wallace.
Dougray was born Stephen Scott, but the name had already been registered at Equity, so he took his grandmother's surname (also his middle name), "Dougray," a surname that exists mostly in the British Isles. Actor Ewan McGregor was the best man at his first wedding, to casting director Sarah Trevis. Nominated for GQ's "Most Alluring Man" of 2001.
