The Antoine Fuqua-directed movie maintains the spirit of the 1980s TV show (starring Edward Woodward) upon which it’s based but it also turns the action knob up to 10. Fun film with Denzel largely repeating his 2004 Man on Fire performance. (And that’s a good thing.)
