www .elvinbishopmusic .com. Elvin Bishop (born October 21, 1942) [1] is an American blues and rock music singer, guitarist, bandleader, and songwriter. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band in 2015, and in the Blues Hall of Fame as a solo artist in 2016.
Before that, Stephen played as 'Steve' on early records of Elvin Bishop. And on this album by Steve/Stephen, he is joined by Elvin on guitar. Also playing along is Bishop's harmonica player Applejack. So, the music on this record is more like the pre-Capricorn sound of The Elvin Bishop Group.
Baker also contributed to the recordings of others. In 1970, she contributed vocals to the eponymously-titled solo album release by Stephen Miller, keyboard player in the Elvin Bishop Band.

Guitarist and singer Elvin Bishop is well-known to most American 20th century rock fans. He isn't a major figure, but he's not a footnote, either.
He then joined the Elvin Bishop Band, recording a few albums with them. He also recorded with Zydeco pioneer, Clifton Chenier, in 1972. In 1974, he re-formed the Linn County Band in Iowa, before moving to Georgia, where he joined the Southern Rock band, Grinderswitch.
