Ennenda se encuentra situada frente a la ciudad de Glaris, en la orilla derecha del río Linth. La antigua comuna limitaba al norte con las comunas de Mollis y Filzbach , al este con Obstalden y Sool , al sur con Mitlödi , y al oeste con Glaris y Netstal .
Nestled in the valley between the Glarus Alps, the village of Ennenda offers a host of contrasts. On the one hand, it is characterised by its factory buildings and workers’ houses, and on the other hand, by stately villas and a monumental community centre that can be found here.
Ennenda is located on the right side of the Linth river, across from Glarus at the foot of the Schilt mountain. It consists of the village of Ennenda and the hamlets of Sturmigen, Ennetbühls and the mountain settlement of Ennetberge.
