19 de mar. de 2024 · I have Fences 4 and generally like to keep updated, but I'm having a problem finding any information about teh differences between 4 & 5. I know 5 takes us into the subscription model (by default), but I would really like to see what comes with that (other than higher cost).
20 de nov. de 2017 · Right-click on the desktop and select "Configure Fences..." Click on "Layout" on the left-hand side of the configuration window that appears. Select “Restore a backup” to bring up a list of saved layout backups to revert to. When a saved backup is clicked, a preview window will appear showing you what the layout will look like on your desktop.
19 de ago. de 2024 · Fences prior to update were neatly spaced per Fence dimensions. A Layout Snapshot was taken before upgrading to 5.81. Please note: The Fences are a little hard to see as they are rolled up and the opacity is low. But the Fence names are visible on image enlargement. This has been happening since the Per Monitor addition to layouts.

24 de nov. de 2023 · I disabled the two Windows 10 startup processes and restarted, but Fences still runs and the uninstaller still complains it is running. I looked through the Stardock Forum threads and the Fences Forum FAQ but couldn't find anything more authoritative on how to stop Fences 4 in order to uninstall it. Should I use the *.bat file to purge Fences?
