Julian Alvarez is the proof a player's resale value is very relevant. It gives Man City a lot of profit to sign young players for cheap and sell them for tons of money.

24 de ene. de 2023 · It will be down to the fact he's behind a monster in Haaland that's blocking his path. He's not a natural number 9 and is instead a playmaker with a good finish on him. Not (yet) clinical enough to be the main man and not (yet) physical enough to offer anything else if he's not scoring regularly. Or at least threatening.

Very useful squad addition for at least a year or 2. They need to get the wage bill down so they can register the new signings. Gundo's probably near the top earners there.

I’m going to be interested to see how he performs over there in Madrid, he’s certainly not got a good enough touch to play off the striker or in midfield so be good to see how he leads the line as their “star” forward. Honestly, as much as I rated him, I don’t think he’s top top level, similar to like a Jesus.
