Even with the relative success, and though some of their later releases turned out to be some of the best power pop of the nineties, they unfortunately never repeated that first level of success later on.

They had some success with their first album but it was “Stacy’s Mom” that really launched them into the spotlight. The song tells the story of a young boy who has a crush on his friend’s mother, Stacy’s Mom.
