Georgios Karagkounis, o también Giorgos Karagounis (en griego: Γιώργος Καραγκούνης, n. 6 de marzo de 1977, Pirgos, Provincia de Élide, Grecia) es un ex futbolista griego que jugaba de mediocampista. Fue director deportivo de la selección de fútbol de su país.
Giorgos Karagounis is a former Greek footballer who played as a midfielder for Panathinaikos, Inter Milan, Benfica and Fulham. He is the most capped player in Greece's history and won the UEFA Euro 2004 with his country.
