You Can Count On Me. In 2012, Ben Kweller re-emerged with the album, Go Fly A Kite, a triumphant debut for his Austin-based label, The Noise Company. “Kite” was released on February 7, 2012 and is immersed in rich harmonies, lush arrangements, and bittersweet lyrics.
Thankfully Go Fly A Kite sees Kweller return to his power pop roots, producing something close to his best. His ability to create simple, yet memorable, melodies and couple them with downbeat stories of missed opportunities, damaged personalities and lovelorn characters is impressively done.
