Goat Songs is a 7" vinyl EP by The Sundowners, released on Sea Note Records in 1993. The EP is a collaboration between Palace Brothers (Will Oldham) and Smog (Bill Callahan). The EP was reissued on 21 May 1994.

Viva Last Blues is the third studio album by Will Oldham. It was released under the moniker Palace Music on Drag City in 1995. The album features Oldham on vocals and guitar, and was recorded by Steve Albini.

'The Sundowners' was an open band project for the members of Drag City rooster, and more specifically the Sea Note sub label one. The 1st 7" (Goat Songs) was a collaboration among Will Oldham (Palace Brothers back then) and Smog (Bill Callahan).
