Website. www.guildfordhigh.co.uk. Guildford High School is a private day school for girls that was founded in 1888. [1] Approximately 1,000 girls between ages 4 to 18 are attending the school from Guildford and its surrounding towns and villages. The school comprises a junior school, senior school and sixth form. [2]
Guildford High School, which is separated into a Junior School and Senior School, is a happy, purposeful, and vibrant community that centres on eight key aims. We call them ‘The GHS 8’. All that we do at Guildford High School is designed with our pupils in mind.
Our experienced Admissions team will take you through the admissions process and be on hand to answer all queries you may have. Normal entry to the school is at 4+ and 11+. Smaller intakes occur at 7+ and 16+.

Our visitor events take place during the week, enabling you to see our school in action. JUNIOR SCHOOL. Thursday 6 June, 10:00 – 11:30 (2025 entry only) A Junior visit will begin with a talk from our Head of Junior School, Mr Allistair Williamson, followed by a tour of the school with our Year 5 or Year 6 pupils.
