The show has produced four seasons which premiered in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2010. Presenter Øyvind Mund, cameraman Steinar Marthinsen and sound engineer Ingar Thorsen travel to meet their childhood heroes.

They were one of the best-selling Swedish bands ever and have had numerous hits in Scandinavia , starting with the break-through song "Flickorna på TV2" in 1980.

The music is based on English and American power pop, often built around the Farfisa organ, as well as lyrics in Swedish about life in a small town.
