I think people are going well overboard in this thread with their reactions and insinuating that the club is so terrible for wanting to sign Harry fecking Kane.

27 de abr. de 2011 · Kane maxed out all of his potential, I recall Spurs sent him out on loan to a whole bunch of clubs and even when he scored a lot under Poch people were more hyped by Alli oddly enough. He's had the discipline to finetune his shotmaking, passing, penalties, similar to Beckham and set pieces.

Kane can win very little and be in the conversation for one of England's greatest ever strikers. However, that doesn't stretch as far as one of the World's greatest ever.

17 de ago. de 2024 · He’s won more in his first season at United than Harry Kane did in his entire career, so not a great comparison. I also doubt Ronaldo cares about trophies in Saudi, its all been about his personal stats for years, outside of international tournaments. I would like to see that, I think it would be highly entertaining if nothing else.
23 de nov. de 2024 · He was never too reliant on speed to begin with. This is said often, but he was fast and mobile enough to be problematic before he turned snail-like. It's been a significant drop in speed these last two years.
7 de oct. de 2024 · Harry Kane was fecking woeful at almost everything at 21, Sheringham was warming the bench for Millwall. He is a very good finisher with raw tools who needs to be developed. I don’t see any evidence that we are setting up to take advantage of his greatest asset, his finishing, nor am I confident ETH is the right man to develop him.
6 de feb. de 2023 · Haaland's gpg is currently unprecedented, but it doesn't necessarily make him the best - the eye test surely plays a role in assessment and Kane's indisputably one of the most complete strikers on the planet, -- if not the most -- if Benzema's finally winding down, it can be fairly argued.
