Hawarden High School (Welsh: Ysgol Uwchradd Penarlâg) is an English language medium secondary school in Hawarden, Flintshire, Wales. It is part of the Flintshire LEA . [1] The school traces its history back to 1606 when a single-classroom grammar school was established with £300 left by a local resident named George Ledsham.
Hawarden High School offers a wide range of subjects in eight curriculum areas, including English, mathematics, science, languages and vocational courses. The school follows the National Curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4, with some variations in languages and options choices.

17 de ago. de 2023 · Hawarden High School has been celebrating significant academic success in its students’ A level, AS level, and BTEC results today. This achievement is particularly commendable given that the upper Sixth faced the challenge of missing their GCSEs in 2021.
