About the college. Hertford is known for its friendly and informal atmosphere – it’s the kind of place where it’s easy to make friends and feel at home. We’re proud of our inclusive ethos and have pioneered access to Oxford for students from under-represented groups for over 50 years.
The Hertford College Music Society is one of the University's largest student-run music societies. Their ensembles rehearse and perform regularly during term and there is an orchestra, jazz band and choir to choose from. The choir welcomes all and sings at chapel services once a week during term.
