I loved Home Alone 3, I don't get the hate towards it. I liked the terrorist subplot and all the tactility Alex puts towards his investigating.
The traps in Home Alone 3 are also more creative and technologically savvy. They're not just about slapstick comedy; they show a clever use of household items to create genuinely innovative defenses. Moreover, the villains in Home Alone 3 are more developed and pose a real threat, unlike the somewhat cartoonish Harry and Marv.

16 de dic. de 2020 · The OG Home Alone is a Christmas classic. I like Home Alone 2 a little less, but it’s still good. Now we come to Home Alone 3. Directed by Raja Gosnell (the man behind the live-action Scooby-Doo and Smurfs movies) Home Alone 3 has no connection to the previous two entries. There’s no Macaulay Culkin, no Joe Pesci, and no Daniel Stern.
So if you would like to troll your kids, tell them The Good Son is Home Alone 3 and have fun watching their reactions. The Good Son is Rated R for one f-word, a child admitting to despicable acts, and very mild violence. It could pass as PG-13 these days. I would even say there is WAY more violence in the Home Alone films.
If Home Alone 3 ever comes to fruition, here’s an idea on how it could look like in terms of the plot; it can have a modern feel to it in terms of the traps. Marv and Harry finished serving their sentence and have been released. Plotting their revenge in prison, they are ready to finally put it into action.

The original "Home Alone" was surprisingly heartfelt and well-thought-out. The second installment was part rehash, part NYC tourism advert, with its only saving grace being the brilliant Tim Curry. My hypothesis is that it had been a while since Roger had seen the first one, providing no basis for comparison to the third.

I prefer it over the others, simply because the booby traps are much cooler and something about the character Alex at the time. I do agree that the plot and character development is best in Home Alone 1&2, ditto about 4 being trash. There’s a 5th one, not even gonna bother.
28 de nov. de 2023 · I have never watch home alone 3 until today. A young Scarlett Johansson plays the older sibling to the main character. If I had known she was in this movie I probably would’ve watched it sooner lol.
