She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress and the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Selena Cross in the 1957 film Peyton Place .
Hope Lange was a blonde actress who starred in Peyton Place (1957) and The Ghost & Mrs. Muir (1968), among other films and TV shows. She was nominated for an Oscar, won two Emmys, and died in 2003.
