Human Feel es una especie de big band de bolsillo que reúne cuatro músicos -los saxofonistas y clarinetistas Andrew D´Angelo y Chris Speed, el batería Jim Black y el guitarrista Kurt Rosenwinkel- que se encontraron por primera vez a finales de los años 80 en Boston, cuando aún eran estudiantes y empezaban sus carreras (Rosenwinkel, dice la historia, se añadió un poco más tarde, en 1990).
