Biography. Tenor Jon Thorsteinsson (October 11, 1951, Ólafsfjörður, Iceland) began his musical education at an early age with flute and piano. Initially, Jon studied nursing in Norway. In his second year, his voice was discovered by singer Aase Solbakken. With her he performed in the hospital, where they sang songs and duets from operettes.
