Smoove became a regular cast member of Larry David’s HBO comedy series “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, in which he played the role of Leon Black until 2021; he even wrote a book as his character, entitled “The Book Of Leon: Philosophy Of A Fool” and published in 2017. The series was met with high critical acclaim, and was nominated for 47 Primetime Emmy Awards.
