Jack Rackham is by far my favorite character of the show. First time watcher and currently in the middle of season 2. Jack is funny, cunning and brings a much needed role in the show. I can’t stop staring at the sideburns though. He’s my favourite as well.

Of course, things would soon come crashing down in the near future, with Jack and Ann captured, Jack being hung, the British truly cracking down on piracy in the Caribbean, driving pirates out, with many moving to the east coast of Africa.
