Jagat Prakash "J.P." Nadda (born 2 December 1960) is an Indian lawyer and politician serving as the 11th national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) since 2020 and the member of the Rajya Sabha representing Gujarat since 2024. A key decision maker of the BJP, he is a close aide to Narendra Modi.
In 2014, he became a member of the Central Election Management Committee and in 2014, under the leadership of Shri Amit Shah, he was elected as National General Secretary for the third time and a member of the Parliamentary Board, the highest decision making body of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
