On 14 July 2023, Appiah signed for National League club Boreham Wood on a two-year deal. International career. Appiah was eligible to represent both Ghana and England. On 24 December 2014 he was called into the 31-man provisional squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations by Ghana.
