Hace 5 días · Men at Work was an Australian rock band, which formed in 1978. Their founding mainstay was Colin Hay on lead vocals; he formed the group with Jerry Speiser on drums and Ron Strykert on lead guitar. They were joined by Greg Ham on flute and keyboards and then John Rees on bass guitar.

The 'classic' lineup contained Colin Hay (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Greg Ham (keyboards/saxophone/flute), Jerry Speiser (drums), Ron Strykert (lead guitar) and John Rees (bass). In the 1980s the band achieved a string of worldwide hits including 'Down Under", "Be Good Johnny" and "Overkill".
10 de abr. de 2024 · John Rees and Jerry Speiser left in 1984, next to leave was Ron Strykert. In 2010 a music publishing company won an action against the group over the use of "Kookaburra" for the flute line in "Down Under", they owned the publishing rights unfortunately for the group.
