8 de may. de 2017 · My name is Jim Macaulay and I play the drums for the English punk/new wave band the Stranglers. As I write this you’ll find me with a cold one in my hand, gazing out over the azure blue of the Mediterranean.
Jim Macaulay appeared in a promotional photograph alongside Burnel, Greenfield and Warne for the first time in 2016 and has since been named as an official member of the group. In August 2017, the Stranglers performed at an outdoor concert in Hull as part of the UK City of Culture celebrations.

18 de feb. de 2022 · Jim Macaulay’s drumming is thumpingly powerful and lightning fast. He sports a beard in an apparent nod to his illustrious predecessor, Jet Black. House right is singer and guitarist Baz Warne, a distinctive figure with a shaved head and a black Telecaster.
15 de sept. de 2021 · And so the surviving Stranglers consists of Burnel, the sole remaining founder member, and Warne, the guitarist who took over as vocalist in 2006 but who has been with the band since 2000, along with drummer Jim Macaulay, who co-wrote several songs on the new album.
As the live drummer for legendary UK punk/new wave band The Stranglers Jim has played on multiple tours and live recordings all over the world including major festivals, radio sessions and live and pre-recorded TV appearances.
