John Barnes is an English former professional football player and manager, often considered one of the greatest of all time. He played as a left winger for Watford, Liverpool and Newcastle United, winning two League titles and two FA Cups. He also scored 106 goals in 403 matches for England, and was an FA Cup runner-up with Watford, Liverpool and Newcastle United. He was born in Jamaica as the son of a military officer from Trinidad and Tobago and a Jamaican mother.
John Barnes es un exfutbolista internacional inglés que jugó como extremo izquierdo o mediapunta en el Watford F. C., el Liverpool F. C. y el Charlton Athletic. Ganó dos títulos de Primera División y dos FA Cup con el Liverpool y fue galardonado con el premio PFA al jugador del año en 1987-88 y 1989-90. Es también seleccionador de Jamaica y técnico de Tranmere Rovers.
