Currently, John Curtin College of the Arts has gifted and talented programmes in the following disciplines: visual arts, media arts (television and film studies), music, contemporary dance, ballet, drama (acting studies) and musical theatre. As of Semester 1, 2022 the school had 1,817 students.

As Western Australia's only Selective Arts College we cater for 1700 students from Years 7 to 12 and offer Gifted and Talented programs in Ballet, Dance, Drama, Media Arts, Music, Music Theatre, and Visual Arts, as well as a Specialist Soccer Excellence Program.
