Azymuth is a Brazilian jazz-funk group formed in 1973. The original lineup was a trio composed of José Roberto Bertrami ( keyboards ), Alex Malheiros ( bass, guitars ), and Ivan Conti ( drums, percussion ). [1] . Kiko Continentino joined the group in 2015 as the band's keyboardist after Bertrami's death.
José Roberto Bertrami ( Tatuí, 21 de fevereiro de 1946 – Rio de Janeiro, 8 de julho de 2012) foi um cantor, arranjador, pianista e tecladista brasileiro, integrante da banda Azymuth. [ 2] História. Fez sucesso com a música Linha do Horizonte. Com mais de quarenta anos de carreira, lançou 27 trabalhos, entre LPs e CDs.

On his final years, worked extensively with Ithamara Koorax from 1990 to 2011, touring Europe and Asia with her.
