17 de ene. de 2023 · Karl Polanyi est né le 25 octobre 1886 à Vienne dans l’Empire d’Autriche-Hongrie. Il est l’enfant de parents juifs hongrois, dont le père était entrepreneur et sa mère rabbin. En 1904, Polanyi rentre à la faculté de droit et de sciences politiques de Budapest.
