  1. Kenneth Herbert Barnes (16 March 1929 – 13 July 2010) was an English footballer. He played as a half back for Manchester City and Wrexham. On the books of Birmingham City as a youth, Barnes began his football career at amateur level. Upon completion of his national service in 1947 he joined semi-pro Stafford Rangers .

  7. 23 de sept. de 2020 · Kenneth Herbert Barnes was born in Small Heath, Birmingham (not too far from Birmingham City’s St. Andrews ground) on the 16 th March 1929. As a youngster, he played with Birmingham-based amateur side Moor Green and, later, for Birmingham City’s youth team. He then moved to Bolton Wanderers where he also played for the club’s youth team.
