13 de oct. de 2017 · King Arthur: Legend of the Sword sees Guy Richie bringing his typical style to the ancient legend arguing it brings it up-to-date for the modern cinema going audience. You could also say it’s loud, brash, anachronistic and pays the barest minimum of lip-service to the myth it is supposed to be telling.

28 de mar. de 2019 · Simply put, adding a new spin on something is one thing, subverting expectation to such a degree that it puts an audience off is another – King Arthur: Legend of the Sword tried and failed back in 2017 while the less said about The Last Jedi the better. It’s not as if the film is any good, either.

12 de mar. de 2023 · It superbly rebooted a character who had been made legend several times before on the Big Screen, albeit a hundred years ago, and brought him to modern audiences with panache and charisma. The film would be followed, seven years later, by The Legend of Zorro, also directed by Campbell and reuniting stars Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

28 de feb. de 2005 · I haven't liked any of Ritchie's output since Lock Stock, Snatch and RocknRolla. All of which were excellent. Then we got stuff like Revolver, King Arthur etc. This was probably, IMO of course, his best movie since then and it was very average. Watch once and move on.
13 de nov. de 2018 · Colours are amazing, there is a new richness and vibrancy to the palette that the Blu-ray simply cannot replicate; check out the royal court wear, Princess Isabelle’s deep red clothing, Robert the Bruce’s or King Edward’s, the blue of the war paint or the sky, the green of the fields, the red of the blood.
