Koen Lieckens graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory in 1995. He then studied with Billy Hart in New York. He has his own trio and performes with renowned musical artists in Belgium and internationally. He has been teaching at the Art Humanities in Antwerp and the Fontys School of the Arts in Holland.
