1 de may. de 2024 · McDonald also starred in the Broadway play Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill and won a Tony Award (2014) for her portrayal of jazz singer Billie Holiday in that production, which tells of the singer’s final months of performance before her death in 1959. McDonald was the first person to win six Tonys for acting.
