A whole host of former friends and colleagues paid their respects at the city of London cemetery at Manor Park. He came on as substitute goalkeeper in the final league match of the 1996-97 season for West Ham at Old Trafford against Manchester United. I remember that he received an amazing reception that day from our fans who remembered all that he did for our club.
