Maharishi School (formerly Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment or MSAE) is an independent, non-denominational, college preparatory school located in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.The school was founded in 1974, received state accreditation in 1986 and began single-gender classes in 1989.
Maharishi School is a non-sectarian, PS-12, day and boarding school with students from over 30 countries. The School offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum and programs that expand a student's consciousness. Students start and end each day with yoga and meditation.
Maharishi School was established in 1975 and proudly bears the name of its founder, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the internationally renowned teacher, author, and scholar. The School began on the campus of Maharishi International University as an elementary school for the children of faculty and staff.
