The bridge in the opening sequences is in Long Beach leading to the Port of Long Beach. In recent years Mike Connors has commented on how dangerous that sequence was for him to film. But if this ABC package was set up as MANNIX was getting ready to go into its sixth season, then that might explain why the syndication package stopped where it did.

He did enough episodes of Mannix so that the image of Mannix comes up as one of the things he is known for on the IMDb -- and he seems to have done five episodes of The Fugitive as well.

I wonder if they are still there.... Structurally, notice the scenes where Joe and Peggy are in the office.

One thing I've noticed in my recent binge of all 8 seasons is how the producers send 'messages' regarding the closeness of Joe and Peggy. Something I have never seen a comment on is their outfits. Watch how their outfits are often similar; color, matching or complimentary patterns.
