She is the co- Canadian record holder in the 400 metres, along with Jillian Richardson, and previously held the Canadian record in the 200 metres .

Alongside Angela Bailey, Molly Killingbeck, and Angella Taylor-Issajenko she won a silver medal in the 4x100 metre relay at the 1982 Commonwealth Games.
