Mark Gillespie, (born 17 November 1970 in Stockport, England) is a singer, songwriter, currently living and touring in Germany, where he has built himself a substantial fanbase, and has toured with Jethro Tull, Meat Loaf, Lisa Stansfield, Fool's Garden and Chris De Burgh . Mark Gillespie tourte ab den 1980er Jahren als Straßenmusiker durch Europa. 1996 kam er nach Gießen, dort wollte er eigentlich nur mit den späteren Mitgliedern der heutigen Mark-Gillespie-Band (Peter Herrmann (Bass), Thomas Dill (Gitarre), Oliver Jäger (Keyboard), Markus Leukel (Schlagzeug)) eine CD aufnehmen, um seine Tour zu finanzieren.
