Matthijs de Ligt (Leiderdorp, 12 augustus 1999) is een Nederlands profvoetballer die doorgaans als centrale verdediger speelt. Hij tekende in juli 2022 een contract tot medio 2027 bij Bayern München. De transfersom bedroeg 70 tot 80 miljoen euro. De Ligt debuteerde in 2017 in het Nederlands voetbalelftal.
