They divorced in 1975 after ten years of marriage. She lived with Isaac Tigrett from 1976 and eventually married him in 1989.

At the time, she dated Ringo's bandmate from the Hurricanes, Johnny Guitar, but that did not stop Starr from being attracted and eventually falling for the "brunette young hairdresser."
Sadly, Maureen would eventually succumb to this cancer, passing away December 30th, 1994 at the age of 48.
