Oblast Sports Complex "Metalist" (Ukrainian: Обласний спортивний комплекс «Металіст», commonly known as simply the Metalist Stadium) is a stadium in Kharkiv, Ukraine.The stadium was one of the venues for the UEFA Euro 2012.The stadium can hold 38,633 people. F.C. Metalist Kharkiv plays there. The stadium was first opened on September 12, 1926.
Dec 2017. Metallist Stadium is at present (2016 on) being used by Shakhtar Donetsk as its home base, following the occupation of its hometown, Donetsk, by Russian-backed rebels. Poor Shakhtar were using Lviv and Odessa as temporary bases in 2014 and 2015 until the local Kharkiv Metallist club closed down.

Metalist stadium is the main sports arena of the city. After the reconstruction on the occasion of the Euro 2012 championship, the stadium remains to be one of the most modern stadiums in Ukraine and accommodates more than 35 thousand spectators.
Since 2017, the stadium has been a temporary home arena of Shakhtar. The Donetsk team’s first game at the OSC Metalist was held on September 9, 2016 vs Dynamo (1-1). The encounter gathered 39,677 spectators in the stands. In May 2017, the stadium in Kharkiv saw Shakhtar claim their 10th league title and 11th Ukrainian Cup.
