Midwood High School is a comprehensive high school located in the center of Brooklyn. The school enrolls approximately 4,000 students and is comprised of three main programs: Medical Science, Humanities, and Liberal Arts.

Midwood High School opened on February 3, 1941 to 2,600 students who were drawn from local schools. In 2008, the Midwood Science Annex, with its large modern library, was opened to students. It is located across Bedford Avenue and is connected by a 2-story glass bridge.
